Forget I’m a Celebrity and their version of a Speakeasy Challenge (and their disgusting concoctions!), instead you should have joined me for our very own ‘trial’. The London Gin Drinker and resident curator, AKA Hilary, had prepared yet another pilot Tour to be tested out on a Friday evening in November.
With a set of interesting Prohibition facts to digest, and our very own ‘18th Gin Craze’’ to consume on route to our first hidden location, the scene was set for this Beyond the Map Speakeasy Tour.
Just picture it … approaching a barbers shop with thoughts of Sweeney Todd and his cut-throat barbering skills in our heads…only to be greeted by some neon lights and a set of stairs leading to a quaint tucked away Speakeasy.
